OK so following on from the list of best stoner movies, what about TV shows? Again, feel free to suggest your own. The criteria – they have to be hilarious or in some way stunning to watch when blazed.

Here we go:

Futurama

The Mighty Boosh (a crazy UK comedy well worth the download)

Look Around You (A UK science show spoof)

The Peter Serafinowicz Show (He does sketches and plays most of the characters in the show… brilliant)

Bill Bailey Live standup

Ricky Gervais Live

The Office (the UK version dammit!)

Garth Marenghi’s Darkplace (if you can still find it.. dark comic genius)

Carnivale

Family Guy (of course)

South Park (usually very good)

The IT Crowd (UK comedy about an IT department – geektastic!)

The League of Gentlemen (dark UK comedy series set in a village called Royston Vasey – you’ll never leave!)

more to come… fire in those suggestions!

OK guys it’s time for some feedback. I’m going to list my favourite stoner movies (i.e. the movies that’ll make you laugh your ass off when blazed but may not necessarily be any good otherwise!). Would love to get some feedback with your own faves.

In no particular order:

Step Brothers (The recent Will Ferrell movie)

Blades of Glory

The Naked Gun movies

Top Secret (A Val Kilmer spy spoof)

Pineapple Express (Seth Rogen!)

Superbad

Any of the new Futurama movies (I think you actually NEED to be high to appreciate them fully)… failing that, any of the series episodes. Season 5 Episode 2 – Jurassic Bark – will bring a tear to your eye as well!

Requiem for a Dream

The Fountain (I had no idea what this was about but it was very pretty!)

Borat

Meet the Spartans (well you have to be pretty damn blazed to find it funny)…

Koyaanisqatsi (a feast for the eyes and the mind)

That’s just a sampling… feel free to provide your own suggestions!

This is a segment from TruTV’s reality show “The Principal’s Office” where two students are brought it to be told off about dirty dancing… and turn the tables on their principal!

1974. The UK. The show: “Nationwide”. For the first time in history, a man demonstrates how to jump on eggs without breaking them. This is a world exclusive!

For thousands of years we have wondered where we came from, what it all means, and why it’s so hard to get a good ounce on Sundays. Say “Hebbo” to Tarvuism! Tarvuism is a new religion that amongst other things, teaches you how to speak to an octopus. Are you wondering why we live in Universe B and not Universe A? Wonder no more! Say “hebbo” to Tarvuism! Developed by Peter Serafinowicz and Robert Popper of “Look Around You” fame, this “religion” is heavily documented online and is being developed as a TV series. Finally, you’ll know what Tlentifini Maarhaysu really means…

OK so 70s music videos were pretty bad, but there is no excuse for this:

Ah the seventies… long hair, sepia tones, bell-bottomed trousers and… moustaches.

Prepare for the horror of this remix of “Apache” by The Shadows…
