Hi Guys
With sadness we must report that due to recent law changes in New Zealand we are no longer able to supply herbal highs. We will still offer The Stoner’s Cookbook through the store, but for at least the next year, while the ban is in place, we will be unable to sell our usual herbal product range.
You can read the new law here: http://www.legislation.govt.nz/act/public/2011/0054/latest/DLM3924304.html

The WA State Government has banned synthetic cannabinoids contained in products such as Kronic, Kalma, Voodoo, Kaos and Mango Kush after an extensive investigation by key Government agencies into the harmful effects of these drugs.
This appears to be a blanket ban that will include our products. Please be aware that ordering these products if you live in WA is at your own risk and you risk having them seized or destroyed.
We do NOT offer refunds on orders that are seized or destroyed.

Hi Guys!
It’s been a while since we blogged – we’ve been flat out! Looks like everyone is happy with our new fulfilment service, orders are being delivered much more reliably now and the whole process is more efficient.
We’ve been swamped with requests for free samples, which we had run out of, but another shipment is arriving today and we hope to have them available on the site tomorrow. As usual, to make it fair, we’ll be offering these via the lottery system on the website.
We’ve managed to keep a lid on our prices for quite some time – they really haven’t changed since we started the store – but with the way the dollar is, the recession, and increases in the cost of raw materials, we’re raising some of our prices as of today. We’re still trying as hard as we can to keep them as low as possible and we hope you understand! We’re still offering discounted multi-packs, more of which should be in stock tomorrow.

Hi Guys!
We now have a fulfillment provider who ships much more reliably worldwide. We’ve had a lot of success in Australia with orders only taking a few days to arrive. As always, ordering is at your own risk (especially in Australia) so if you are a first time customer you should start out with a smaller order first to make sure it gets through OK.
We have reports (especially from Queensland) of packages being seized for inspection and then taking up to 2 months to be delivered. You need to realise that once the package leaves our care we are not responsible for it, nor can we track it, and we can’t provide refunds for orders that are lost, destroyed or seized. Legal herbal highs are receiving a lot of scrutiny at the moment and there is always the risk of them being banned or age limits imposed.
We now also have an electronic version of The Stoner’s Cookbook in stock. This is a cut-down version of the full, hardcover book and is available as a PDF for $9.99 US. For your privacy it’s password protected. Buy The Stoner’s Cookbook – e-book edition

As you may be aware there are connectivity issues with thestonersstore.com
This is because of an outage with one of servers that routes traffic via Asia. We’re working with our ISP to determine the cause of this and have it resolved as quickly as possible – apologies for the inconvenience!

The largest study of its kind has unexpectedly concluded that smoking marijuana, even regularly and heavily, does not lead to lung cancer.
The new findings “were against our expectations,” said Donald Tashkin of the University of California at Los Angeles, a pulmonologist who has studied marijuana for 30 years.

Happy New Year and welcome to 2011!
We hope you had an enjoyable, safe and relaxing holiday.
Here’s the latest news from the store:
The US DEA ban did NOT go into effect
On 11/24/10 The DEA filed for a temporary emergency ban on five synthetic cannabinoids. They have not acted on that temporary filing as of 12/28/10 so the products remain legal and available in stores. Read the Full Article
This means you can still order products from us if you live in the US, until further notice.
Note that some states still ban artificial cannabinoids, as always, check our List of Banned States and Countries page.
New Stock Arriving Soon
We’ve had a run of orders over Christmas so you may notice our stocks are a little low, including multipacks. Sorry about that! We expect to have a full refresh of stock in the next week.
New Weekly Special
Our Weekly Special this week is Dust: Strawberry 1gram. Buy 1, get 1 free! And yes, if you buy 2, you get 4. And so on, while stocks last.
Australian Orders
We’re still having an issue where occasionally orders sent to Australia are being held up. We’re complying with Australian Law to the best of our ability, and providing a Manufacturer’s Declaration with every order. Because AQIS/Australian Customs refuse to provide information on the status of any seized item, either to us or NZ POst, there’s nothing we can do if your order is held up or does not arrive. This is the case even if we were to send tracked, courier parcels (pretty odd really, the whole point of a tracking number is to be able to find out where a package is at, but Australian Customs do not honor requests for information on a package once it has been Held for Clearance, which is why we don’t offer the courier service any more).
We DO insure envelopes worth more than $200US that are posted to Australia, at our own expense, so that we can try and claim insurance if they go astray (you need to wait at least a month before contacting us in this case). But orders less than this value are sent using normal airmail and as such, may be lost, stolen or intercepted. We’re not responsible for this and will not offer refunds.
The Cookbook
The cookbook did very well in it’s trial run at Spencer Gifts in the US and we’re in the process of supplying them with more copies.
We hope 2011 provides you with opportunities and rewards and happiness before the world ends in 2012
